Reflection

This week marks the beginning of my commitment to the Stop Soldier Suicide 62-Mile Move Challenge. What began as a personal fitness goal has become a daily practice of accountability and remembrance.

Each walk is intentional and tied to a name. Every day, I move with someone in mind — carrying their memory, their service, and the weight of what was lost. Some days the miles come easily. On other days, they require discipline more than motivation. What remains constant is the commitment to show up daily, log the movement honestly, and honor one life at a time.

This log exists to document the work as it is: imperfect, consistent, and grounded in care. I'm not aiming for perfection or performance. I'm choosing to move every day with purpose, remembering those who deserved to stay.
